Kaufman County Becomes 2nd Amendment Sanctuary

On November 12, Kaufman County Commissioner Terry Barber presented a Kaufman County Republican Party resolution to make Kaufman County, Texas a 2nd Amendment Sanctuary.  Commissioner Barber read the resolution before the Commissioners court and it was voted on. The resolution passed unanimously by all 4 commissioners.

This adds Kaufman County to a growing list of counties in Texas to become a 2nd Amendment Sanctuary.  Also on November 12th, Nolan County, Palo Pinto County and Stephens County also passed similar resolutions.

Other 2nd Amendment Sanctuary counties in Texas that have passed  similar resolutions  include Ellis, Hood, Hudspeth,  Parker, Presidio,  and Smith.
